Hello! My name is Andy Birkett, and I’m an approved driving instructor (ADI) based in Darlington. Whether you need a driving instructor in Northallerton, Newton Aycliffe, Richmond, Catterick, Middleton St George, Darlington or any of the surrounding areas, I can help.

I can provide intensive and semi-intensive driving courses and one-off driving lessons. My prices are always competitive, and I offer discounts for block bookings and new drivers.

All of these services are available from a qualified driving instructor

I always conduct lessons in a calm, friendly, patient and relaxed manner, as I firmly believe in making pupils feel at ease during lessons. I can provide the following forms of driving tuition:

• 2 hour lessons
• Block of 10 hours’ driving tuition
• New-driver tuition for five hours
• Intensive courses
• Semi-intensive courses

Please visit this website’s Services page to learn more about all of these options.

My background as a driving instructor

I originally decided to train to become a driving instructor because I’ve always enjoyed coaching and teaching – and there is nothing better than seeing someone pass a crucial test or exam.

Friends, colleagues and relatives were always telling me that I was a calm, patient and relaxed type of person and that I would make a great driving instructor. Now, I would be delighted to help you, too, learn to drive – and achieve that major milestone in your life.
